Fiberlicious Friday: The Sencha Edition
My favorite thing about this post is that Ashley and I are using the exact same fiber (color and all!) for our respective Fiberlicious Friday posts, but we've come up with completely different interpretations! Salad? Tea? Proves once and for all great minds think alike AND differently all at the same time.
And I've been completely blown away by the creativity popping up in the Fiberlicious! Flickr group. I'm glad to see I'm no longer alone in my bizarre penchant for photographing yarn as delectables!
Happy Friday, all!

Lovely!
I just cracked up when I saw yours on Flickr. Yarn twins! Yarn twins!
That looks awesome! I keep thinking about buying that yarn, but I haven't yet. With your photos and Ashley's, though, I'm very tempted!
I love seeing all of these Fiberlicious photos; great idea!
It's great. I love how it is so soothing in yours and energetic in hers.
another great one! one of my favorite colors of Fleece Artist. Both you and Ashley did such a neat job!
How funny that you and Ashley picked the same yarn to feature this week. As I said to her, my biggest problem is that now each Friday I get the sudden urge to shop! My stash is already out of control without all of this fibery goodness circulating around the knit blogs!
Don't Lime and Violet describe yarn as "lickable?" Yours is drinkable! Swimmable!
I just hope it gets knitable for you and your schedule!
very pretty! i love the pattern of the dishes ;)
*sniff, sniff* What's that I smell? *sniff, sniff* Is that a book deal on the horizon?
Seriously, this'd be a GREAT idea for a coffee table book!
I love seeing these fiberlicious photos. And maybe you and Ashley are evil twins...
i'm equally impressed with all the creativity on the fiberlicious flickr group. i keep hoping that i'll absorb some of it by osmosis, but so far no luck. so in the meantime, i'll just sit back and enjoy your offerings. :-)
the fiberlicious shots are my new favorite- you come up with the best ideas!
This is a beautiful composition - as is Ashley's. I adore your concept!
Don't tell Ashley, but I like yours better. I think I'd rather sip some calming yarn then toss it with grape tomatoes :)
I didn't even think, when I posted my real food that it was standing in contrast with all your yarny food. Both equally yummy, in different ways.
I absolutely adore those cups and saucers!
I am loving all these fiberlicious pics. I love the yarn as tea idea-- nice work.
Lovely green "tea"! And it's so good for you too.
i love how the green looks with your lovely blue dishes. the whole picture was a feast for the eyes.
Yum! Funny though, how both your photos and Ashley's have the same effect -- MUST FIND GREEN SEA WOOL!
These fiberlicious posts make me oh-so-very-happy.
